Wireless technology has become one of the most researched technology. This was not the case a few decades ago. Today, we are able to send texts and make calls wirelessly. It seems so simple and easy. Everything was wired a few years back. There was no way they could be wireless. Even sending a telegram require wires. Telegrams were short messages that were sent by Morse codes. This was a very popular technology because post took weeks and months to arrive to its intendant recipient. In some cases, posts never came. Telegrams arrived within few hours and it included a short message. It was used extensively because it allowed for news to travel fast. It was very beneficial, especially during World War 1 where messages were sent up and down.
The one technology that was wireless and used extensively was the radio. It was the most popular electronic equipment at the time. People were using it all the time. There was music, songs and even news were read. To this day, the radio is one of the most useful equipment. This was a true wireless technology that used radio waves to distribute content. People were able to carry the radio around and travel wherever with it. Time to time, the radio required charging and some radios were woundable.
Similarly, the television was also invented. This allowed people to see and hear sound at the same time. This was a great invention, the beginning of displays. Content for televisions were sent wirelessly even though televisions required antennas to receive the signals. There were small televisions made as well. These could be carried in your pocket and watch when you wanted. Manufacturers made sure they used a contract manufacturer to develop better displays and accuracy. This allowed for color television sets.
Similarly, the invention of the telephone was one of the greatest discoveries. The only problem was that it required a wired line to connect the other caller. Therefore, wires were used all over. Some countries use this system till today. This changed when towers and satellites were used to connect two people. We use mobile phones today that can connect to the internet, make payments through NFC, and send data and make calls, which is all done wirelessly. From a bluetooth device manufactuer in China to wireless card manufacturer have also making their products efficient to use less power and become more powerful.
The 21st century has made wireless technology popular. Everything we use has become wireless. There is even wireless charging available albeit it requires the device to be kept on a charging pad. Soon even our laptops won’t require wires and may be charged wirelessly.
